The archaeological sites of west
and south-west Turkey, once neglected and buried under mud
and debris, are now much more accessible to the traveller
thanks to the fairly recent development of yachting at the
Turkish coast.
Asia Minor, the Turkish mainland is full of ancient sites
that are very familiar to the Western culture ; Troya,
Pergamum, Ephesus, Halicarnassus and many others.
This is a great way to explore and enjoy the lands and
